Youth League Officer Positions & Duties
v Vice President
Leads youth meetings & officer meetings by using a developed agenda
Maintains and monitors a steady flow of communication among officers, as well as, among youth members
Initiates planning for upcoming activities/events and contacts designated church committee member to obtain permission
Delegates or executes duties that any other officer fails to complete by designated time
Sets necessary meetings to identify current or potential issues that need prompt attention
v Secretary
Takes “meeting minutes” (notes) during all youth meetings
Emails youth members and officers “meeting minutes” following 24 hours of a meeting
Updates youth emails as necessary
Works with treasurer to lead Bible Study discussion during youth praise & worship meetings (Informs youth of topic & selects Bible verses to read)
v Treasurer
Maintains monthly financial records of any cash deposited or withdrawn from youth account
Works with secretary to lead Bible Study discussion during youth praise & worship meetings (Informs youth of topic & selects Bible verses to read)
v Historian
Takes pictures at youth meetings and youth related functions
Compiles pictures, notes, and souvenirs in youth scrapbook
Works with church webmaster to update youth plans & activities posted on church website
v Surrogates (18 & Older)
Each surrogate mentors a designated officer with his/her duties as needed
